10:00am-12:00pm – Wetland Restoration Area BioBlitz

Join us on June 5th at 10:00 AM at Heartland Forest for a hands-on volunteer activity focused on monitoring the plants and wildlife surrounding our Restored Wetland area. Visit our crayfish snakes and turtles station to learn more about these amazing creatures and how we are helping restore habitat for them. Join in on our monitoring efforts as we survey the area for species presence.

1:00pm – 2:00pm – Celebrating Salamanders and Bats in our forest

Join us on June 5th at 1:00 PM at Heartland Forest for an interactive presentation and forest walk focusing on bats and salamanders within Niagara. Learn about our Bat House Monitoring program and how you can volunteer.

No prior experience is needed, and participants of all ages are welcome to join. This is a family-friendly event.
