WHAT TO EXPECT:
9:00 am Arrival
• Welcome & Introduction
• Land Acknowledgement
• Traditional Smudge
• Medicine walk: 700m walk across level terrain throughout the property; discussion of native plants, their medicinal purposes, traditional and modern uses
• Sweetgrass Harvesting Ceremony where tobacco and a prayer will be offered in thanks
• Sweetgrass Braiding
Break:
Enjoy traditional strawberry juice & cornbread made from corn grown in Heartland’s Friendship Garden and prepared by Louis
• Team Plant Identification Challenge
• Gratitude Circle & Closing
12:00 pm Conclusion

Add on additional time at a reduced rate to make use of the Forestview, Park and Trails for self-guided activities, team debriefing, lunch etc. OR Add on Low Ropes Team Building at a reduced rate for the afternoon.
