This 15-week Work Experience Program provides opportunities to Underrepresented Groups to learn new skills, gain experience and build confidence working in Customer Service, Hospitality & Tourism. Participants will have the opportunity to complete the AODA Customer Service Module, Worker Health & Safety Awareness Training, WHMIS 2015, First Aid CPR and Food Handler Certification during their Workshops.

Geared to youth 18 to 29 years of age who self-identify as, and/or belong to one of the following groups: Persons with Disabilities, Indigenous Peoples, Racialized Groups.

Program consists of 7hrs of On-the-Job Training and one 3hr in class Workshop per week. Compensated for 5hrs per week at $16.55 hr for On-the-Job Training, weeks 3 through 15.
